My case is a colorcase Focus, a decent enough box, but certainly wouldn’t be first choice for an overclocker - It simply isn’t big enough!

Radiator By removing the front fan mount, and by cutting off the bottom section of the drive cage, I discovered that Danger Den's monstrous cooling cube would fit perfectly! Further proof that you don’t need to cut corners just because your case isn’t the size of Lake Michigan!

This radiator is excellent because it cools so well. There are 4 rows of 15 passes into the radiator, i.e. a huge surface area is being utilised. The size of the radiator is also the perfect fit for a 120mm fan, which will massively help to trasfer warm air away from the radiator. Fan Since water-cooling should be quiet, it is important to choose the correct fan. A 150cfm screamer is not required, and will drown out even the most determined 60mm Delta. An altogether more elegant solution is a Panaflo low noise fan. These fans are relatively rare and difficult to find, but they are definitely worth hunting down (thanks to Be Cooling for supplying my Panaflo) since they are so quiet yet still shift a hefty 86.5CFM of air.

Waterblock Waterblocks are an important consideration, and my slotket configuration limits my choice somewhat. Copper waterblocks are undoubtedly superior to aluminium waterblocks since copper has almost double the conductivity. Therefore I chose the Overclockers Hideout copper waterblock. It has its nozzles mounted on the front, meaning the hoses can overhang my memory without the hoses having to be bent.

My waterblock has plastic nozzles rather than the metal ones shown above, although either is fine. Hold Down Not the most exciting piece of kit ever, but none the less essential. This is the bit that clamps the waterblock/peltier assembly to your CPU.
