Wizardry 8 - While both are Role Playing games and both are set in non-D&D worlds, Wizardry 8’s graphics, sound, and story do not compare to Morrowind’s. Wizardry 8 does let you play a party of up to eight characters, six player characters and two non-player characters, to the one you get in Morrowind if that tickles your fancy.
Dungeon Siege – Dungeon Siege has absolutely no freedom to explore its world. Morrowind, on the other hand, allows one to become intimately familiar with every nook and cranny that exists on Vvardenfell. Dungeon Siege is also nowhere near the role playing experience that Morrowind is.
Neverwinter Nights – This will be hotly contested, unless I miss my guess, but I believe that Morrowind provides a much richer and purer role playing experience than does Neverwinter Nights in the single player campaign. I also like the amount of interaction that can take place with the environment in Morrowind, which is not available in Neverwinter Nights.
Morrowind does not have any multiplayer capability, so there is no way to compare it to any other game in that respect though.
Conclusion
Good

- Excellent Sound
- Non-Linear Gameplay
- Construction Set Included
Bad
- Crash to Desktop Bugs

Summing Up
After waiting for five years for another adventure in Tamriel, Bethesda has given us the gift of Morrowind. Has it been worth the wait? Absolutely! Morrowind is, in my humble opinion, the new standard by which single player Role Playing Games will now be judged. The graphics, the sound, the gameplay, and a story that will suck you in and not let go are all top notch. The level of detail is unbelievable and all of the hand-placement of NPCs and items shows how much Bethesda wanted Morrowind to be the success that I think it is.

Second Opinion
I've had this title for about a month now, and I cant stop playing it! My new life seems to be 'Cosmos The Crusader'. Give back my life Morrowind!! I havent played an RPG in years, and this one certainly has sparked my interest back into these games. A superb title, which is incredibly in-depth and highly non-linear (something a lot of RPGS claim, but never deliver). My rating would have easily been a 'Classic' also - Core
