Introduction
With Star Wars Episode 2 now upon us, like me you may have gone a little Star Wars crazy a few months back. You might not have got to that stage where you don a dark cape, helmet and start practicing your heavy breathing skills, but you might have got to the phase where you walk around going wrrrrrrrrooooooooom lightsaber style. Fear not, as Jedi Knight II can be the perfect solution to your lightsabering cravings!
Jedi Knight II, as the name suggests, is the second game in the Jedi Knight series, a hugely successful game which proved to be excellent fun. But is the sequel better than the original, or just another rehash of an already classic game? Luckily for us the answer is the former statement, as we soon find out.
Compatibility
JKII has pretty low requirements really, when compared to other similar first person shooters. With my old setup, that in all fairness wasn’t that high, the game actually ran like a dream. Even in multiplayer with loads of characters fighting in a frenzy of lightsabers I got little, if any, slow down. The only problem I had was with the application of the recent patch, which resulted in a loading problem in single player (the problem being it wouldn’t load! LOL).
However thanks must go to Lucas Arts fabulous Tech Support (which answered in about a day, extremely good and efficient nowadays!) the problem was quickly sorted out.
