Just as there are many different types of mice out there, there are almost as many pads as well. I can’t say that the Icemat is going to be perfect for everyone, but personally I think it’s the best mouse pad I’ve ever used. It’s got great looks, is ridiculously smooth and polished, and though it costs more than a comparative plastic pad (about $28 from Newegg), in my opinion it’s worth the price difference. I’ll never go back to plastic again. Highly recommended.
