Most of the information is self explanatory, with the 3448 meaning CAS 3, 4,4 being tRCD and tRP respectively, and the 8 being tRAS. These are the same relaxed timings we have come to expect from very high speed modules. For the time being it seems modules with the CAS 2-5-2-2 settings we became used to are on hold.
Removing the heat spreaders reveals Hynix stamped ICs. The Part number is HY5DU56822CT-D5, with the 5 meaning DDR500. If you look back at our Corsair XMS 4000 review you will recall they used CT-D5 ICs with that, which were PC3200 parts - clearly these are superior modules and not just a re-badge. The PCB is a Samsung part, and is fully JEDEC compliant with the all important top row of bypass capacitors in place. It is the same PCB as they use on their XMS4000 - in both Pro and normal guises.
