What's New

What's New in the Revision 2 Waterchill?

The actual CPU and Northbridge blocks have changed little since the kit's previous incarnation, although Asetek now supply special CPU block top-plates for boards that were previously incompatible (e.g. Abit’s NF7-S). A cosmetic change is that chrome brackets are now found underneath the push fittings rather than the previous black ones. The CPU block supports all current formats, including AMD socket A (provided you have mounting holes), Intel Socket 478 and both the new Athlon 64 and Athlon FX processors.

The VGA waterblock has been changed considerably from the first kit. Rather than the use of angled plastic elbow joints, this new kit uses a taller PMMC top allowing the barbs to protrude directly out of the block. This will help flow rate and reduce pressure drop considerably throughout the water circuit. It supports all Geforce and Radeon cards, with other older cards being supported as well.
