Today I have another case review for you, loyal readers. The Black Knight from Ahanix features a sleek, black, "2001" monolith style similar to the Lian PC-6070, and also offers a few features not found on the Lian Li at a much lower price point.
The Black Knight is a steel bodied case available in black only (obviously). A power supply is not included. Here are the specs:
• Front Ports: 2 x USB
• Front Fan(s): 1 x 120mm (included)
• Rear Fan(s): 1 x 120mm (included)
• External 5.25" Bay: 4
• External 3.5" Bay: 1
• Internal 3.5" Bay: 7
• Width x Height x Depth: 7.68" x 17.25" x 19"
Before I get into the case itself, I’d like to mention a bit about how the case was packaged. The shipping box is not normally something I would comment on, but in this case I was very impressed as to the amount of effort put in by Ahanix to make sure the case got to my door unscathed. It came wrapped in plastic, double boxed, with two sets of foam. This would be impressive for any case, but an inexpensive one makes it doubly so, and I applaud Ahanix for the amount of care put into shipping. That out of the way, on to the case.
