It is important to note that we did not actually receive one particular kit. Asetek was kind enough to send us the CPU Power Kit, Antarctica Socket A and Socket T lids, 3 ½' bay HDD cooler, a heat conduction pad and a blue LED!.
 
As shown above, Asetek did a pretty good job in packing the items with foam. However, during the transit from Denmark to Australia , the CPU lid was chipped. Fortunately, it was not the Socket T lid, but the universal lid. Asetek could have simply put the waterblocks in their own separate box to prevent them from banging against other components.
A Closer Look
 
The 3 ½' bay HDD cooler is designed to be mounted at the bottom of your hard drive using a gel-based heat conduction pad. The unit we received used ½ inch tubing although a 10mm version is also available. It can be seen that Asetek opted to use a copper base over an aluminium counterpart to prevent galvanic corrosion. Asetek designed this block with a simple flow circuit, but is more restrictive than what I personally feel would be necessary.
In actuality, the copper base of this HDD block is quite smooth, even besting some CPU heat sinks on the market! However, this does not matter given the low-heat nature of hard drives.
A blue LED was also supplied to us by Asetek to be mounted in the small indentation in the HDD block. Asetek describes this feature to be a “High-end Ultra light blue LED Light for 3 1/2' WaterChill Hard Drive Cooler. To be used for a strong visual effect and increased bragging rights.” :D
