After reviewing our first Tagan power supply, the TG480-U01, everyone at OcPrices agreed that it was one of the best PSUs we had yet seen. Featuring some excellent features, such as EPS and BTX support out of the box, plus rails to match the best in the industry, it was not only us who were impressed. Tagan PSUs are now sold in most high performance online PC shops here in the UK, and along with Antec, Enermax and OCZ, are on the shortlists of most overclockers.
The unit we are looking at today is a 420W unit, but comes from a new faminly of Tagan PSUs called the i-Xeye range. The pale X in the middle of the box actually glows in the dark as well, which would make it stand out well in darker stores :).
These new models feature the same beautiful black finish of the 480W unit, but come with blue LED fans and a window on the bottom of the PSU. This is great news for case modders with clear side windows, as the PSU emits an attractive blue glow from both the back and underside.
