Introduction
Low Latency DDR2 memory modules have been popping up recently, capable of 3-2-2-x timings, most utilizing the recent yields of the Micron DDR2 die. A while back, we had a look at the Wintec Industries' modules, which were capable of DDR2-706 @ 3-2-2-8 timings (DDR2-720 @ 3-2-2-4 has been achieved since). You can access this review here.
Corsair, over the past years, has built up a reputation second to none in the enthusiast memory industry. They are known to produce quality, highly-overclockable memory. We were delighted when we were informed of that Corsair were bringing out low latency DDR2 memory modules using the extreme Micron die!

As seen above, Corsair's new XMS2-4300C3PRO modules are packaged in the usual Corsair package containing a leaflet and installation instructions. They are rated at DDR2-533 at 3-3-3-8 timings at 1.8v. Corsair's marketing department informed us that these modules were targeted at people who just wanted low-latency DDR2 at stock speeds and subsequently, are at the bottom of their DDR2 range. Nevertheless, we still had very high expectations for these modules in terms of overclockability as they are based on Micron's DDR2 offerings.
