Today we are looking at the X850 AGP cards from HIS, the X850 XT Platinum edition, and the X850 XT iTurbo. Prior to now, the X850 was PCI-E exclusive, but you can now get AGP versions from a number of firms. Both feature the HIS innovative IceQ cooling system and therefore feature superior cooling at a quieter noise level when compared to competing solutions from other manufacturers.
Both models use the now-familiar blue HIS colour scheme boxes, with only a sticker in the top-right hand corner telling you which card is which. As usual with the HIS, the bundle that you receive in the package is excellent.

The HIS Excalibur IceQ II iTurbo costs £340, where as the Platinum is more expensive at £375 from www.overclockers.co.uk in the UK, and will soon be available for a similar amount from Super PC Mart in the US and Daiwa in Canada.
