Nanya Technology Corp. (NTC) from Taiwan are the high-technology arm of Formosa Plastics Group (FPG) and thus carry a fair amount of financial grunt around with them. They manufacture their own sticks as well as PCBs. Nanya do not have a particularly great reputation for making overclocking memory, and I was expecting it to be the runt of the litter to be honest.
As you can see from the chips, Nanya is at least using 6ns RAM. 1000 / 6 = 166MHz. Look at the nice holographic label on the right of the stick. Woo! Like Kingmax, Nanya have rated their memory to CAS 2.5, so lets not expect too much. Once again, we first tested at standard voltage (2.5V), then at 2.8V to determine the absolute max this ram could take.

Quite a surprise! The Nanya breezed through 166MHz at all timings even at default voltage. Upping the juice to 2.8V it coped with 175MHz without issue, bringing it into provisional pole position. However we have 3 contestants to go... You can pick up Nanya's RAM from JKTrading - If you want the widest selection of RAM in Europe, look no further.
