I did a brief 5 hour game test with these game devices. My test games were famous titles like:
Star Lancer
Tachyon
Aquanox
Even though these aren't flight simulators CH's products did wonderfully with these ancient games. With Star Lancer, the setup was easy, it recognized all of my functions. After playing a few levels I noticed the lack of annoying resistance. I have an old Microsoft SideWinder Pro Joystick, and it used to stick a little, making my aim very inacurate, but with The F-16 Combat Stick and Pro Throttle I felt very omnipotent. I was literally dominating the game.
Tachyon, also ancient history, was a game I enjoyed when I was completely bored out of my mind. It was fun, but each destination took quite a while to get too. Anyway, setup with this game was as easy with Star Lancer, all buttons were recognized and performed just as well.
Lastly, Aquanox, a new title which was actually a head ache to set up, but I believe that was due to the game and not the controller. I had to set up a new axis for the controllers so that the game would recognize it as a X/Y joystick. If I hadn't, I wouldn't have joystick support. After setting the tension and sensitivity of the controllers, it was quite an enjoyable game.
No sticky feeling, very easy to control, and above all, a plethora of functions.
