Comfort and Other Features
Comfort
Comfort is a very important issue to me, and should be to everyone. You can’t enjoy a game unless you're relaxed. All stress should be directed towards the game and not of your wrists and hands. As said in the previous review, I have fairly large hands and the handles on the Flight Sim Yoke weren’t too large. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t have any aches or other pains when playing with it, but I shouldn’t be touching the palms of my hands when I wrap them around the yoke, which I did easily. In other words, it just felt slightly awkward. I’ll show you what it looks like from the side and you can decide how thin is thin.

Again, don’t get me wrong; it was extreme bliss playing games with it. I took some more pictures of the Sim Yoke, in the nude.

Something I always admired about CH Products were the rubber materialized feet on their game devices to prevent any slipping.

Those rubber feet hold a nice grip and the knobs you see are there to hold the Sim Yoke on to the table. It was very easy to install, speaking of installation, it was simple as it was the last time, if not easier. They have an updated Control Manager, which I used, that had all of their newest products’ drivers. As easy as it was last time, you just put in the disk that they provided with the package, click the setup.exe located in your local CD drive (when the disk is in of course) and select “Install drivers” and then “Control Manager.” How to configure your controllers can be found here, since there weren't any noticable changes between the earlier version of CH Control Manager and this one.
Buttons
The great thing about CH Products is that they give you a copious amount of buttons and functions and the Sim Yoke is no exception. All together we have 20 button functions. On the left hand, we have three push buttons and a verticle rocker button. Nice eh? On your right hand you have a horizontal rocker button and an eight-way hat switch as well as another button located rear side of that handle. Just with the handles in hand you have sixteen extremely well accessible button functions. You also have two flipper switches near your right hand. Each provide an up/down motion. Again, very easy to get to. And lastly, you have three levers, throttle lever, propeller lever, and mixture lever. They are custom shaped for easy memorization.
