In AVP the GTX 560 reigns supreme, though the 6870 is only a short way behind. It outpaces both the 5850 and GTX 460 in this test

In COD 4 all cards are over the 100fps mark but again the GTX 560 reigns supreme. The 6870 and 5850 remain barely separable with the GTX 460 bringing up the rear.

In Crysis warhead the Radeon 6870 chalks up its first victory, besting the GTX 560 by 4fps and demolishing the GTX 460. It is also 13% quicker than the 5850.

The 6870 continues its winning streak in F1 2010, beating off stiff competition from its predecessor and comfortably eclipsing the NVIDIA cards.

In Hawx we see the GTX 560 regain its composure and return to the summit of our charts, comfortably faster than the competition.
Across the spectrum of our tests the GTX 560 Ti is unquestionably a faster card than the Radeon 6870, but it isn’t as clear cut as you might think. With the 560 Ti costing around £30 more than the 6870, the two solutions are well aligned in the market place. The older GeForce GTX 460 is comprehensively beaten in every test by the HD6870, but then you would expect this given it costs at least £30 less at time of writing.
